Thank you so much for sharing a little about yourself. It sounds like you have been through the mill and back and you have come to share the story.
Lived experience is incredibly powerful. In my own recovery, I had a lot of clinical support, but it was peer support and hearing from others that made the real difference.
Peer support allows us to connect with others and know that we are not alone. It gives us hope and assurance, even when things are so tough.
I love swimming also. I have a pool at home, so I hop in quite often.
And I read that you have a kid you have to remember and look after too. Well done on being the best parent you can be at this time.
