anyway.. 2nd wave of 'stuff'ages ago

vintage kitchen unit/dresser on cupboards, recliner lounge

other stuff ,like heater and extra a/c yonks ago. was only thinking other day I sat on an esky in kitchen for months,table was a box. got bed, kitchen table,butcher block thingo,wmach,300+ litre fridge @EternalFlower still lots things not done yet

oh and wood heater and slate hearth that is like 1800x1800 x 40mm weighs like 200kg lol

plus kitchen table and chairs

• got bed delivered from IKEA
• went to look at 2nd hand chest of drawers on fb, they put it on ute and followed by home
• friend left beach chairs which are going to get thrown
• I also got couple plastic chairs and adjustable tray thing to go over my lap fm kmart
• tv and white goods delivered fm Harvey Norman like 30ks away
• I picked up slate w borrowed trailer from Willunga, got it out of trailer myself somehow
• had huge hassle w heater. the one I wanted had dift price in dift areas ,so if bought in Melbourne say was like $600 cheaper and you are supposed to go to nearest place to buy. rang them,no stock plus wont install. so I got one and flue kit from place couple hours away for cheap and brought it home myself
• then first installer BS'd me then refused to install it as he was too scared; said it wasnt up to code(wrong)
• eventually got another installer ,but had like 6 months wait
• kitchen table and chairs I picked up from 90ks away
• coffee table and tv and coffee table same, from 30ks away
• and someone dropped lounge off but I had to unload it by myself lol

@EternalFlower  and I got ceiling insulated as it wasnt, and got another split system for bedroom. and got ceiling fans in all(like 4) rooms lol well its 4 rms,and bathroom, laundry and toilet.Good size for 1 person,but room for  a guest . Still have long list of things wanted to do, but moneyis running out. It's cosy.😊

@EternalFlower I am really glad you have some one doing the work who feels a better fit. DBT has good aspects. 

@TAB sounds like you are doing a great job of making a classy home. Gezellig…. Is the Dutch word that comes to mind…

i saw this picture of a girl bedroom on substack - the idea being that feminine bedrooms are all trinkets and cute things layered on top of each other with no holding back - and why that stops when people becoe adults or live with a male or any person who maybe doesn't like it as much.
