Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

@HenryX

What an awesome summary.
I think Kanga is @NatureLover.
You really are the intellectual type. Keep up the good work. It will be so interesting to meet Henry Rush one day.

Brilliant!

Not sure Sooty should be a caretaker - he'll just add chaos. So have passed the job to the gnomes 🙂

@Sophia1

TY for giving us the freedom to let our inner child out.

I don't have much of an imagination (or so I thought), and have not done any creative writing since high school - decades ago. This is a new experience for me. My writing has been scientific or legal in the past. Quite dreary. Probably how I picked up a smattering of latin.

Ooops

In case your wondering about 3 random posts above. I was going through previous responses and used 'quick reply' thinking it would just tack onto a specific post from the past.

Seems they've become part of time line for the thread. So just ignore the above posts as they relate to things from yesterday or the day before.

Sorry for any confusion.

This forum is so complicated sometimes. Smiley Mad

@Lilaca

Dear Friend (good ole Pooh Bear),

I have noticed that you only surface here once in a while. I hope that you are ok and know that you are always most welcome. Our little thread has grown busy with much going on but it was @Sophia1  and yourself that started it! I want you to remember that. It was also your idea to become Pooh Bear and his friends. I am missing you dear Friend. Hoping to see you around here soon.

All my love,

Very clever appleblossom

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

well so much has happened in such a short time.

Here was I thinking that hmm Tigger is doing all of the talking.

What is the saying "when the cat is away the ......................will play"

@Lilaca yes your presence is definitely noted and missed.

 Please come back your poetic writing helps put us back into some sort of something

you have more friends to write about. Come on you must be tempted.

I do hope that you are alright at the same time, all fun aside.

@Shaz51  Now knowing Mrs Shaz for some time now, I will let all of you who are not familiar with her know that our lovely Mrs Shaz is one busy, caring, compassionate lady. Her role as Christopher Robin is on hold for her whenever she has the time or desire to join us. We will keep her place here for her always. There is only one Christopher Robin. There is also only one Mrs Shaz whom I know.

@Oaktree dearest lady what a delight you are. I am so happy happy happy that you have landed here in our story on all four legs. I had to laugh at the difficulty doing the hokey pokey with four legs.

@Emelia8 is our beautiful friend who will join us in her own time. Watching from the sidelines offering support always even when struggling with so very much. Again You are our special Piglet and that will never change.

@NatureLover how lovely to get to know you. I have noticed that you are a rescuer of sorts also. Kanga willingly steps in when Tigger has made such a muddle or mess and he just flops in a heap needing time out. On some occasions time out for too many pranks or mishaps. SSshhh do not remind anyone about the Chocolate mud cake.

@Ripples  Dear Roo always riding in Kanga's pouch along with little bee and gumnut baby. @Appleblossom  Roo we have missed you and hope that all is well with you, if not can we help, support you by writing to you?

@Appleblossom has a cheeky side also with little nuances not gone unnoticed.

An offer to play the piano. Well hello, yes definitely, a must, please.

Tigger is jumping for joy. We can organise a concert! Yes. Oh bursting with please, please , please.

@Exoplanet a lovely friend whom has so much courage and determination. Exoplanet you are a storyteller. We are writing pieces at random. You are a storyteller of your travels that are fascinating to read with your photography. I have not checked in and am sorry. My mind is still foggy, not an excuse, a reality. Please tag me so that I can support you over there and probably need to allow time to catch up with so much. I have also seen you on the other writing forum which you might be enjoying more. This too is how it should be. We write where we want to.

@Snowie  our White Rabbit who is quite elusive, no different really to Alice in Wonderland white rabbit. I do not know you that well. I have seen your supports on other posts and easily realise that you  too are caring and compassionate. Be where you want to be.

@Adge our very own Horrace the Post Bat ( I am sure at one stage you were Master Bat) No matter. I also forgot how unwell you are. Tigger feels very guilty about that and quietly mumbles to himself...sorry..so very sorry. do you forgive me. Not even little bee and gumnut and Roo or Beetle can hear as his voice is so very very low.

When you are rested we shall love having you back to play with us and we have new friends. Yes Tigger is so very excited. We have a very intelligent, well organised Beetle whom I do not yet know much about. I do know that we need some organising when Kanga and Winnie the Pooh are not about.

@Anastasia hoot hoot hoot .....you seem to sleep so much... I think that we need to put you on an exercise programme. What do you think friends? Running around with Tigger and our new bilingual cat Sooty might wake you up. Might frighten you off too. No I did not say that. Come back. Come back.

@HenryX welcome Beetle, Henry Rush. You will be an interesting character this I know in advance. One thing that I must say is that I always seem to have to apologise and explain myself to you. I am so sorry that I confuse you so much and you feel the need to apologise. You are not alone. This is a reminder of the real world the one outside of this one which I really sometimes do not want to go back to when I can be so very silly here.

@Flax Well what can I say a multi-lingual french, italian, come latin sleek, stylish? puddy tat who talks to a dusty, silver, fairy who wears Versace or is that the name, Tigger has forgotten already, Look at how much Tigger has written up to now! I know that this long silver haired fairy wears Prada Boots. Interesting a well travelled fairy. The fairy talks as well in a slightly sardonic tone. This did catch my attention. I am wondering if the fairy will be with us at each of our ongoing encounters. The italian coffee machine was covered in gossamer silk so as not to be seen. Tigger has to have the best coffee beans brewed every morning and in a special continental small cup with saucer.

No milk . Gosh no, ruins the natural flavour of the brewed coffee beans.

How did you manage to get inside the secret hut anyway. I think that it must have been another hut.  Possibly next door neighbour who is very nosy I might add. Always poking head over to see which friends have landed in the what was a secret garden.

Have any of you noticed the neighbour........

ps Religion, politics, sport conversations best left elsewhere as we have so much else to be thinking about.

Said and intended in the nicest way, apologising in advance as not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings.  ..........

Well, thank you all. No I am not going anywhere.

I am thinking that we need a

Re: Writing and receiving letters via virtual post

Dear Forest Friends,

@Sophia1  what a lot you have written, how lovely 🙂

Thank you for your kind words.

Kanga is in  need of the coffee this morning from Tigger's coffee machine. Roo tries to sip some, but she is too little for coffee yet, so Kanga gently takes it away from her. Kanga has been back to the cave to collect Horrace the unwell little bat, and has set him up in a  corner of the cottage in Tigger's secret garden, with blankets and medicine for his tonsillitis. Little Bee perches close by to keep Horrace company, even though Horrace can see and hear all the goings-on in the cottage.

Aloysius the grumpy Post Bat has delivered a letter to Horrace from Owl, wishing him get well wishes. Rabbit has been and gone at top speed, to collect more of his small "Friends and Relations". Henry Rush the Beetle has crawled down from Pooh Bear's shoulder and is sitting with Gumnut Baby on the bench next to the coffee machine. Sooty the black cat is licking the cream behind the coffee machine... Ariadne the exotic white delicate fairy flits above the band of friends, making sure they are all comfortable.
