I understand your feeling re some spaces as well as feeling dismissed.
They are real feelings for you and it is a credit to you that you recognise them.
Your internal safety mechanisms kicking in.
Important to keep ourselves safe everywhere when we feel this way.
I stick mainly to my thread and respond to a few where I know that they get me. Does that make sense?
I also have learnt not to spread myself thin.
I cannot be a friend to everyone and that is not what the site is about anyway.
Some people confuse this forum with friendship rather than connection and interraction.
We can reply to those with whom we feel safe. We can open up if we feel safe enough to do so.
We can still keep our boundaries in place which is vital for you and I who do feel dismissed and have safety issues.
This does not make others any better than us though.
They are just dealing with life in a way that suits them.
No one size fits all. Ever.
You do remarkably well Eternal.
In my book you come across as so sincere and honest. That goes along way with me.
I believe in you
Stay being you. You are moving ahead.

hi @Appleblossom @Sophia1 (no pressure to reply) @TAB I thikn sometimes I have been too open here, I didn't understand fully that I could choose who I replied to. I am trying to work on internal protections.
I fawn a lot and sometimes engage with people out of fear that they wonn't like it if i don't respond or they'll expect something
I feel there are a few people here who i am comfortable with and who remember annd note things about me and also share about themselves in mutual journeys that inspire me to recover and continue on.
I can't speak to the safety of every user here or every person nhere and its okay to not write to people wo stress you out, I guess.

I will bravely say I think that I understand the need to be listened to and actually heard.
Two different concepts...sadly lost with many people.
I have also learnt that just because a person has lived experience does not mean that they actually hear what you are saying
A difficult task to reach out to many and remember each person's needs
Hence I keep myself close to a few threads and a few people
You do have your safe space here and you do not have to reply to everyone. This you already know. Sometimes all of us need reminding.
We are only human are we not Eternal
May the spaces in this life keep you comforted, reassured and held
You are a lovely soul Eternal
I sense people's energy even on forums

Thanks @Sophia1 it is difficult for me to accept care and I can barely trust anyone these days but I sense u are speaking from a protective sense for me. Im so tired to people taking from me and using me. Thank u for tuning it and being respectful to what im struggling with. I am learning to ignore and step away when I feel people are pressuring me
Sometimes people take the fact that indont speak up or say an explicit no as a yes. I fawn and my yes isnt always from my soul. Its hard for me to say no.
