@TAB yeah makes sense. Without a fan to move the heat around it warms only a small area. Mum always used to close the loungeroom off from the rest of the house when we had the fire going, then we'd have to go into our cold bedrooms at bed time. Thank goodness for wool blankets! For some reason mum ended up with a bunch of army blankets when she and my dad split and they weren't pretty but they were warm.

I should put some air vents that can open and close to heat other rooms that share walls w loungerm ie ,, heater ... fan  and manipulating doors does work to a point tho @ENKELI

got bogged here in XC 250  ute late 80s @Bill16 was close to rev limiter in 1st getting off and beach and trail in there, changed to 2nd w sloppy old 3 on the tree, enough time to lose power and get buried up to axles in sand ..
