@tyme after ex friend cut me out of her and her kids' lives I felt huge resentment and wished a lot of not so nice things to happen to her. As time has gone on I feel emptiness and sadness at a lost friendship. I don't resent how I supported her and the kids. I believe God put her in my life for a reason and then took her out of it for His own reasons. I actually had a prophetic word that we wouldn't end up friends but neither of us wanted to believe it at the time. I struggle a lot around significant dates, my Goddaughter turned 18 last month and my Godson will be 16 in September. Also when I've been tidying up I've sometimes found notes and cards from the kids or her and it still brings me to tears. It's been 2 years and sometimes I just want to forget.
If I had my time over I doubt I would change anything, even knowing how painful the ending was. I am not so trusting anymore though.
